Privacy Notice
This page explains how Jade Homecare handles information sent through the website enquiry form, hosting and website measurement. Please contact us if you need information about records connected with an arranged care service.
What the enquiry form asks for
The form asks for your name, preferred contact method, matching email address or telephone number, the postcode area where care is needed, and any support types, timing, frequency or optional message you choose to provide. Please do not include confidential medical details in the form.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to reply to you, check whether the location and requested support may be available, and discuss next steps. If you arrange care, relevant information may then be used to plan and provide that service. We do not use this form to request detailed health records.
Who processes the form
The enquiry form is processed by Netlify, which hosts this website. Form submissions are stored in the website’s Netlify Forms area and can be accessed by Jade Homecare to respond. Netlify also describes how it handles form data in its form-submissions information.
The website also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google. You can read Google’s information about this in its Privacy Policy.
Hosting and performance monitoring
Netlify also measures website loading performance without cookies. It receives the visited page path, browser and device information, and performance timings. This operates separately from Google Analytics and continues when optional Google tracking is rejected. These measurements are not sent to our Google Ads account. See Netlify’s performance-monitoring information for how this service works.
Map and postcode checker
When you scroll to the map on our services page, your browser loads the map software from Cloudflare’s cdnjs service and the map images from OpenStreetMap. Like any website, these services receive your internet address and browser details so they can send the map to you.
If you use our postcode checker, the postcode you type is sent to postcodes.io, a free UK postcode lookup service, to find roughly where it is. The check happens in your browser: we do not receive or store the postcode, and neither the map nor the checker sets cookies.
Optional website statistics and advertising measurement
We use your consent as the basis for optional Google Analytics measurement. If you agree, Google receives generic page visits, referral sources, device information, approximate location, telephone and email link clicks, and successful-enquiry counts. Google uses your internet address to estimate location and then discards that address before logging Analytics data. Analytics still uses device identifiers, so we do not describe it as anonymous.
If you allow advertising measurement, generic campaign and enquiry measurements may be shared with our linked Google Ads account to assess adverts. Personalised advertising is switched off. We do not send enquiry names, email addresses, telephone numbers, postcodes, care choices, messages or chat contents to these tools.
Google processes this measurement data and may process it outside the United Kingdom. Its partner-sites privacy information explains how it uses that information. Individual user and event data in Analytics are set to a two-month retention period; standard aggregate reports may remain available for longer.
“Accept optional” allows both visitor statistics and advertising measurement; “Reject optional” keeps both off. You can change or withdraw your choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not automatically erase information already collected. Read our cookie information for the choices and browser storage details.
How long information is kept
Enquiry details are kept while they are needed to handle and follow up your enquiry. If care is arranged, relevant records may be kept for the period required for care, safeguarding and other record-keeping needs. Contact us if you would like to ask about a particular record.
Your questions and rights
You can contact us to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern. Email office@jadehomecare.co.uk. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) using its complaints service.
